Brett Mueller gathers, creates, and maintains content for the CCJ website. He also manages CCJ's membership of several thousand domestic and international journalists, educators, students, and citizens that share CCJ's commitment to engaging in an ongoing conversation about the principles of journalism.

Mueller recently completed work on a three-year academic assessment of the effects of CCJ's Traveling Curriculum Program on news organizations that received training [2].

Mueller previously served as a research coordinator with the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania on a project that assisted local television stations around the country in improving political election coverage on their websites. His experiences working in news media include an internship with the George Michael Sports Machine at WRC-TV, Washington, DC, and hosting sports talk shows on his college and high school radio stations.

Mueller, who lives in Takoma Park, MD, earned a master's degree in communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree from Ripon College in Ripon, WI.
